๐ What's in this guide
Here's the thing about AI-generated content: most of it is terrible. Not because the technology is bad, but because people use prompts like "write me an Instagram caption about coffee." And then they wonder why the result sounds like every other generic post.
The prompts below are specific. They include context, tone, audience, and constraints. That's what makes the difference between AI-assisted content and AI-generated slop.
Replace [bracketed text] with your details. Iterate on the results. And always edit the final output โ your voice is what makes content connect.

Getting Better Output from AI
After creating thousands of pieces of content with AI, here's what I've learned:
- Context is everything. Tell ChatGPT who you are, who your audience is, and what platform this is for. "Write an Instagram caption" is 10x worse than "Write an Instagram caption for a fitness coach's audience of women over 40 who are just starting to work out."
- Constraints improve output. Give word limits, format requirements, tone guidelines. The more constraints, the more creative and useful the result.
- Always edit. AI is a first-draft machine. Your job is the second draft โ adding personality, fixing weird phrasing, and making sure it sounds like you.
- Build a swipe file. When you get a great output, save the prompt. Reuse it with different topics. That's how you build a content system, not just create one-off posts.
- Use AI for the 80%, you do the 20%. Let it handle the structure, research, and formatting. You add the stories, opinions, and voice.
